The Ruth Burlak Salon was started 50 years ago by Ruth Burlak and is still going strong with her daughter, Sylvia, at the helm. Today it is possibly the oldest salon in Cape Town.

Their philosophy embraces hands on therapy, thorough technique as well as an understanding and empathetic relationship with their clients. This also includes the use of excellent products with proven results!

While the salon has undergone redecoration over the years, it retains its personal, intimate, “French” touch.

Painted in soft pastel tones of peach and mint. It has a plush feel and a collection
of exquisite French perfume bottles line the cabinets. One is transported into another world and time.

Sylvia and her therapists believe in maintaining a high standard of work and are constantly developing their knowledge for the clients wellbeing.
